It is about 7:00 pm and Elder Hale safely arrived at the MTC in Provo, Utah. We left Las Vegas last night, had dinner in St. George and stayed in Cedar City. We then hit the road just before 8 am (Utah time) and headed north. We had a wonderful visit, shared testimonies and tears. He was anxious and didn't want lunch. The new procedure for dropping off new missionaries is very well organized and fun interacting with Elders currently training at the MTC. Richard had an elder who was his personal host walk him into the MTC. Their enthusiasm was contagious and helped his departure to be exciting. We are going to miss Rich but are so grateful for his willingness to serve the Lord. As soon as we hear from him we will post his email. Thanks to all our family and friends for your love and support.
